Privacy Policy

1. Introduction and Data Controller

Architecture Thinking ("the platform", "we", or "our") is an educational app that teaches you to think like a software architect and orchestrate AI agents with good judgment. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it, in plain language. By using the platform you accept this policy.

2. What data do we collect?

We collect two kinds of data:

· Your learning progress (completed lessons, scores, level, streak). This is stored locally on your device (browser local storage) so your progress is not lost. It never leaves your device.

· Technical browsing data (IP address, browser type, device, visited pages), collected automatically to measure usage and detect issues.

3. What do we use your data for?

We use your data only to:

· Save your learning progress and let you pick up where you left off.

· Improve the experience and content of the platform.

· Detect and fix technical errors.

We do not use your data for advertising or to sell you anything.

4. Telemetry and monitoring

To improve the platform and catch failures, we use one analytics tool:

· Sentry: logs technical errors in the app (for example, if a screen fails to load) so we can fix them quickly. Sentry receives limited information about the error and your device.

These tools process your data in an anonymized or pseudonymized way and act as data processors under our control. For transparency: the data is processed in the United States.

5. Local storage

Your learning progress is stored in your browser's local storage. This means it lives on your device and may be lost if you clear your browser data or use another device. If we add cloud accounts in the future, we will notify you with an update to this policy.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies so the platform works correctly (essential cookies) and for the analytics tools described above. Essential cookies are required for the app to work; analytics cookies help us understand how you use it and are optional. You can accept, reject, or manage them from the cookie notice and from "Manage cookies" in the footer.

7. Your rights

Under Chilean data protection law (Law 19.628 and its reform by Law 21.719, fully in force from December 1, 2026), you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent. To exercise them, write to the email below stating your request and proving your identity. We will respond within the legal period.

8. Security and data retention

We protect your data with reasonable technical and organizational measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and monitoring. We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law, then anonymize or delete it. No system can guarantee absolute security.

9. We do not sell or share your data

We do not sell, transfer, or trade your personal data. We only share it with the providers needed to operate the platform (such as the analytics tools described above), under contract and with appropriate confidentiality, or when required by a court order or the law.

10. Minors

The platform is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we detect that a minor provided us data, we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will publish the new version on this page with its update date. If the change is significant, we will notify you and, where appropriate, ask you to renew your consent.

12. Contact

If you have questions about this policy or want to exercise your rights, write to hola@architecture-thinking.dev. We will respond promptly.

13. Governing law

This policy is governed by the law in force of the Republic of Chile, and disputes are submitted to the competent courts of Chile.

Learn to think like an architect and orchestrate AI agents with sound judgment.
